Coming Summer 2009

We had an ultrasound this morning. All i know is once i can actually feel this kid moving, it going to be kicking the heck out of me. The doctor said everything is growing well and is right on track for a July 11th due date. Keep us in prayer... still have a long way to go

Sleeping Beauty

Every once in a while Emma decides top the way she falls asleep. Eventually i'll have an entire scrapbook of "The 101 ways Emma has fallen asleep" But this one was pretty funny.

Ft Carson Trip

Once again we found ourselves down in Colorado Springs. Ft Carson had an event that allowed the kids to meet a couple of Santa's Reindeer. Emma was excited to pet it for all of a nano-second. She did have fun making a Reindeer candy cane and a reindeer headband. Thanks Amy and Eric for inviting us

Oh Christmas Tree!

On Emma's birthday Daddy took a 1/2 day and came home early so we could go and pick out a tree. For some reason out here in Colorado, no one does this. They all have artificial trees. Personally i cant imagine Christmas without the smell of the tree as you walk in the door. Emma always loves to go and get a tree. and loves to decorate it even more.

Sunday School Praise Singers

Emma and her Sunday School class sang in front of the church a few weeks ago. She really did more of a stand and sway back & forth. Oh well! They all looked cute! Merry Christmas

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY EMMA

December 12th was Emma's 5th birthday. I still can't believe it. We got some tickets to the Aquarium for th day from a family friend so Emma and I went and had a good time. So hard to beleve its been 5 years since this little girl was born.

Sunday, November 23, 2008

We headed out to Anderson Farms for the 2nd year in a row. Emma got to pick out her pumpkin and had fun doing it. Its so funny how diffrent Colorado is from California. Going to a real pumkin patch is so fun and something Emma kept asking about all year long.

Our 50's Girl

This Halloween Emma was a 50's Girl. I took her to the park to take some pictures since there was no way she was going to let me take her to a studio. Thanks Grandma for the costume!

Seven Falls

This is a typical Saturday since Amy and Eric moved to Colorado. We are about an hour away from each other so sometimes they come up to us ans sometimes we go down there way. Saturday usually consist of trying something new, seeing something in Colorado that is amazing or a sleep over (never to old for those, even of you do have kids) This particular weekend we went to Seven Falls in Colorado Springs. We stopped at Subway got a few $5 subs and off we went. We ate lunch outside at a picnic area and then went inside to see the falls. We only got to see one because it started raining. oh! and you had to climb like 1000 steps to get there. Oh well maybe in the spring

Pumpkin Carving

We attemped to go the the farm a few weeks ago to get a pumpkin but it was raining like crazy. So we went to Target and got a couple to hold Emma over until we could make it to the real Pumpkin patch. Turns out the have Star Wars carving kits... Emma had a good time but made ne scoop out all the pumpkin guts.

Garden of the gods, Colorado Springs

One awesome place that we went to was The Garden of the gods in Colorado Springs. Its about an hour away from me but well worth the drive. It is all red rock formations, trails,
people hiking, biking, walking with there kids. It was an awesome place to take walk. Nana had fun picking rocks and Jaime went on a little rock climbing adventure of his own. Emma had fun climbing the rocks and picking the flowers. Yet again an awesome display of Gods creation. I cant wait to go back and take Bo this time.

DenverFUN

Once we got home the fun started. We went to the Zoo, Aquarium, and had a great time. Downtown is always a fun place to go and shop or even just walk around.

Driving back home

On August 9th we startd our drive back home. That's right... DRIVE. 18 hrs to be exact. We stopped in Vegas at the Rio (BEST buffet in the world) for breakfast, not to mention numerous bathroom stops. When we got into Utah we stopped at a view point. It was the same one I stopped at when we moved out to Colorado. It was still amazing. God creation never gets boring ya know. One of the pictures is Nana (my grandma) Emma and me. We drove back with Nana & Jaime since they were coming out to visit us in Colorado anyway. It was a fun ride.

First Horse Ride

I was floored when Emma said she wanted to ride the horse at the Uptown Whittier Farmers Market. She has NEVER wanted to even pet a horse. This lasted for about 45 seconds then the waterworks started. If she wasn't strapped to the horse she would have jumped off herself. At least I got 1 picture.

Beach Day w/ a side of Earthquake

ahhh... the beach. I love it. I love the smell, the sounds, everything about it. I waited for Bo to go home until i took Emma (not a sand fan) Emma LOVED the beach. She loved the water, the sand, playing with her cousin and all the beach toys she got to play with.
While we were at the beach there was an Earthquake. a pretty good one too. At least I'm told. I Didn't feel it. Emma's first earthquake and she didn't feel it either. It was a 5.4 centered in Chino Hills. What's a visit to California without an Earthquake right? maybe next time I'll get to feel it

Jakers

My nephew Jacob (Jakers) is such a ham. He saw the grass skirt and wouldn't take it off. So Naturally i had to add the Coconut bra and Puca shells. Jakers is one major thing i miss from CA. Maybe someday he can come and visit his cousin Emma in Colorado. Miss You Jakers!!

While Grandpa was at work., Gamma and I took Emma to the park. The only problem was that the slide was as hot and liquid hot magma!! Holy Moly it was HOT!!It was fun, but a short visit. it was just too stinkin' HOT

Halos

Whats California without an Angel Game? Here's Emma with her Auntie Jenny. It was a pretty big group that ended up going. 12 in all. Uncle travis got you a new jersey and of course it was PINK!! I miss going to the the Angel games too. Hopefully the Angles will come to Colorado THIS year.

Disneyland

California brought fun times! We went to Disneyland and had a great time there. Disneyland is one of those places that you never get tired of. I really do miss that place alot since we moved to Colorado. We saw the fireworks, got to go in Dumbo, even got to go on Space Mountain. It was fun! until nexy time, see ya later Disneyland

Tuesday, August 5, 2008

The alarm went off at 3:10 the morning of July 18th and we were up and ready to get to California. Even Emma was excited to be up before God. She was pretty excited to get her new airplane toy. The flight was about 2 hrs. We arrived at 7:53 am Ca time and were pretty tired. It was nice to see mom and dad when we got to LAX.

Thursday, July 17, 2008

Today is the day to do all the last minute running around for vacation. At 4:00 am tomorrow morning we will be leaving on an airplane much like this one to go to California. Bo will be returning via the airway on the 23rd of July. Emma and i however, will be staying until Aug 9th. At that time we will be driving back with Nana & Jaime. Yes, i know, it's a LOOONG drive. But i dont mind long drives and neither does Emma. Bo on the other hand is VERY happy he is flying back, to say the least. Please pray for safe travels.

This crazy kid

Who knows what she is thinking when she does this crazy stuff. But i find her asleep in the wierdest ways. This was last night. Maybe she was pretending to camp or something? Who knows?
