Spring Time

Spring is here and I am so happy to have the winter behind us (hopefully.) Emma has been talking about taking school pictures for a few weeks and I thought maybe I should take advantage of this. She has NEVER taken studio pictures willingly and I thought this would be a great opportunity to take her. And boy was it! She loved it! I am just so glad to be able to have pictures taken of her and not have to take them at a park or outside. Happy Spring!

Emma The Dragon Slayer

Emma has been learning about Dragons and Castles in school. I'm guessing this is the armor she built. I now have all the excess glitter all over my couch but she seems to be having a good time with her battle attire. Next to Emma's picture are the Dragon prints she made. They dipped toy dragons in pain and made them walk across the paper. It was cute.

21 weeks 5 days

Today I am 21 weeks 5 days prego, not that I'm counting. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It's been a while since my last post and A lot has gone on. During the 2nd trimester blood screening we were told that the baby was at risk for Trisomy 18, a terrible disease. I ended up having an Amnio and was told that the blood work was negative. The baby was perfectly healthy. There is no sign of Trisomy 18 or 21 or even Downs. God truly was awesome in taking care of us. I was told that there was abnormal blood flow in the Placenta so that put me at a greater risk for Pre-eclempsia (what I had with Emma) So for now we keep that in prayer that the Lord would allow us to have a Full term baby. OH! and did I mention IT'S A BOY!!! Bo and I are so excited. Emma is excited to an extent. She knows she is getting a baby "brudder" and it's in mommy's belly but I don't know that the actually grasp the concept that the baby will one day be coming home and not leaving. Thanks to everyone that prayed for us these past months. Please continue to keep us in prayer.
